Our history

1961

Founding of Neitraco Engineering

In 1961, outsourcing engineering challenges was not yet common. Most companies tried to solve technical problems internally, often by creating in-house training programs. But engineering wasn’t their core business, and that came with risk. Neitraco saw an opportunity and founded its own engineering firm. The decision paid off: within a short time, the office was full of engineers working on complex challenges at the drawing board.

1971

From design to realisation: a powerful combination

In 1971, a key link was created: Famag Machinefabriek was founded. While Neitraco Engineering focused on technical design and development, Famag handled the production. Together, they formed a complete solution for engineering and manufacturing. A collaboration that still proves its strength today.

1979

The formation of the Neitraco Group

A new chapter begins. With a strong vision for technology and entrepreneurship, the Neitraco Group was founded in 1979. Through acquisitions and new initiatives, the company evolves into a broad, integrated organisation. What began as a technical enterprise grows into a family business with innovation, development, and involvement at its core.

Brabant Engineering: custom solutions since 1979

Brabant Engineering was founded in Eindhoven in 1979. What started as a local engineering office has grown into a trusted partner for custom mechanical engineering. With a strong focus on single pieces and small series, we operate in a wide range of industries.

1989

Brabant Engineering: a growing success

Brabant Engineering moves to a new building on Insulindelaan in Eindhoven. A new milestone in the company’s growth.

1996

The start of an international engineering firm

Brabant Engineering’s ambition goes beyond Dutch borders. In 1996, the Neitraco Group takes its first international step into Belgium through ToMach Engineering. Acting as a bridge between the Netherlands and Belgium, this expansion strengthens expertise and opens up new markets.

2000

A new home in Best

Brabant Engineering moves to De Waal in Best. Located directly alongside the highway, the new facility offers excellent accessibility and more office space, supporting the company’s growth ambitions and enabling more in-house project execution.

2015

A new chapter for Brabant Engineering

Brabant Engineering takes a strategic step by purchasing a new office building on the same street. As owners of the building, the company takes full advantage during its complete renovation. The renovation focuses on future-readiness and flexibility. The office is fully open and designed to encourage collaboration. Additional spaces are created for prototyping and 3D printing, supporting a modern, hands-on engineering environment. This new workplace prepares Brabant Engineering for its next growth phase. The company is increasingly positioned as a full-fledged engineering firm capable of executing high-quality projects entirely in-house.

2023

Expansion to South Africa

To serve clients even better and more flexibly, Brabant Engineering opens a back office in South Africa in 2023. From there, experienced engineers support our projects, working with the same methods and quality standards as in the Netherlands. This expansion allows us to scale up quickly, respond faster, and guarantee continuity.
