FEM analysis

At Brabant Engineering, we ensure that components meet the required specifications both during and after the design phase. Through FEM analysis (Finite Element Method). These simulations, applied to both static and fatigue loading, predict structural behavior under various conditions, detect potential design flaws and optimize models before prototypes are built. This saves both time and costs.

Analysis expertise

Our team has extensive expertise in performing analyses for mechanical engineering applications. We have broad experience with stress, strain, buckling, fatigue, natural frequency and vibration simulations.

But our capabilities go beyond FEM/FEA alone. We also provide support with bolt calculations, assessments of bonding materials such as adhesives, thermal simulations, tolerance studies and root-cause analysis to identify underlying technical issues.

The process

We begin with an intake to define expectations and determine the relevant standards for the case. After receiving the 3D model, we simplify and prepare it using FEA software. Load cases and boundary conditions are then applied. Once the simulation is complete, the results are thoroughly evaluated and presented in a clear report. And we don’t stop there: if needed, Brabant Engineering translates those results directly into design improvements and engineering solutions.
